What is diversity, equity & inclusion? – This is a great explainer, with definitions of the terms, links to research in support of the concepts, and examples of what this means in workplaces. It also includes concepts like intersectionality and digs into some examples of how DE&I impact specific identities.



The Four “I”s of Oppression – In our workshops, we sometimes refer to the “four Is of oppression” to explain how ageism shows up in society at different levels (ideological, institutional, interpersonal and internal). Advancing Equity In Aging Toolkit – This is Justice in Aging’s toolkit for aging advocates: “These resources provide a range of information from high-level analysis of systemic racism and inequities in the context of older adults of color and the landscape of laws and government programs, to practical tools for attorneys, aging services advocates, and staff of all levels in your organization.”
