November is Family Caregiver’s Month!
In honor of all the caregivers out there, the Colorado Center for Nursing Excellence is hosting a special edition of our Ripple Series, focused on caregivers! Note that you need to register for each session separately.
The Caregiver Connection series will be free to caregivers and funded through our Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program and we hope you join us for as many of the series as you feel called to!
Join us for any or all of our 4 sessions aimed at supporting Family Caregivers! We will be meeting virtually at the following dates and times:
- Wednesday, November 9th, 4:30-5:30 PM MST: Defining Resiliency: What Does it Take for You?
- Wednesday, November 16th, 4:30-5:30 PM MST: Putting Your Oxygen Mask on First: Self-care
- Wednesday, December 7th, 4:30-5:30 PM MST: Good Grief: Understanding Grief and Loss
- Wednesday, December 14th, 4:30-5:30 PM MST: Mindset through the Holidays
This will be an informal time to meet and network with other caregivers, learn about local resources, and discuss topics including Resilience, Self-care, grief and loss, and more!
We hope this provides an opportunity to feel seen and supported as we enter into the holiday season by creating a space for community building and learning together!
