Breaking the Age Code Book Club Take 2

In June, Changing the Narrative, Denver Public Library and NextFifty Initiative joined forces to host a conversation about a book that is on everyone’s favorites list this year: Breaking the Age Code by Dr. Becca Levy. We had a robust conversation, and what we heard from you is: WE WANT TO CONTINUE TALKING ABOUT IT.

In the book, Dr. Levy shares her research about how thinking positively about aging results in a longer and healthier life, better memory, less likelihood of developing dementia and more. She dispels many of the commonly held stereotypes about getting older, and offers a hopeful path to a more age-inclusive future, with concrete action steps toward “Age Liberation.”
