Antidotes for Ageism: Film and Presentation

Chaffee County Public Health and Embracing Aging Chaffee present an interactive hybrid event! Watch a screening of Changing the Narrative’s short film, “Antidotes for Ageism” and engage in a discussion about age-friendly health. Like communities across the state and the country, Chaffee County’s older population is growing. A primary goal of the event is to empower attendees with the motivation and knowledge needed to become part of the solution and advocate for age-friendly healthcare.
There will be open engagement on the amazing opportunities Salida offers to our aging adults as well as a discussion on what we can do as a community to understand the needs of our aging adults.
This event is in-person and also accessible on Zoom.
Location: Salida Steamplant Theater, 220 W. Sackett Avenue, Salida, CO
