Ageism Training
If your organization is interested in an engaging, interactive presentation, workshop or keynote address on ageism-related topics, we can help. In the last two years, we have delivered over 130 workshops, reaching over 12,000 people, including:
- Reframing Aging
- Ending Ageism Together
- The Business Case for Age Diversity
- Creating Age-Inclusive Healthcare
- Customized workshops on topics related to ageism
Over 97% of workshop participants say they would recommend our workshops to others.
We’ve done ageism training workshops for organizations large and small and we’d love to do them for YOU! Our standard presentation is a virtual one-hour session that includes audience interaction. However, ageism trainings can be tailored to fit your goals, from shorter presentations to half-day, in-person workshops where participants can practice what they’ve learned. We do request an honorarium or a fee, so let us know your budget.
Get in touch today and we’ll be in touch to discuss how we can help you customize an ageism training session to meet your training and educational goals.

Ageism Training, Workshops & Presentations
Creating Age-Inclusive Healthcare
Geared toward older adults, care partners, and current and aspiring healthcare professionals, these workshops cover how ageism shows up in healthcare, its impact on our health, and specific strategies for creating more age-inclusive healthcare. Topics include advocacy by and on behalf of older adults and changing communications and systems in healthcare.
Reframing Aging
Geared toward anyone workin in aging – nonprofits, businesses, policymakers and media, these workshops cover why reframing aging is important and effective communications strategies, based on research by FrameWorks Institute. Related workshops include: Reframing Aging in Social Media; Starting a Reframing Aging Initiative in Your Community; and Addressing Implementation Challenges in Reframing Aging.
Ending Ageism Together
Geared toward individuals and organizations serving people of all ages, this workshop introduces the concept of ageism, how and where it shows up, and effective strategies for addressing it. All ageism workshops end with a call to action, encouraging participants to use their talents, skills and connections to advance the movement to end ageism.
The Business Case for Age-Diversity
Geared toward employers, business chambers, HR groups and organizations seeking to help older jobseekers, these workshops lay out the business case for older workers and intergenerational teams. We refute common and outdated myths and stereotypes, and outline actions that any employer can take to recruit and retain a more age-diverse, productive and profitable workforce.
